From the early 90's (and Billy I mean 1990' not 1890's, 😃) until the the early 00's (2000's that is not 1900's Billy, 😃), between CYO, Jr. H.S., H.S. (FR, JV, VAR), college (jr., JV, and VAR), spring tournaments (AAU and YBOA), summer leagues, and AAU and YBOA (national tournaments) I would officiate anywhere from 400 to 450 games. I am now 57.
I have cut that down to about 150 games a year now, because Mark, Jr. started H.S. in 2004 and his now a FR in college and Andy is now a SO in H.S. I wanted to watch them play baseball in the summer and watch them swim during the fall and winter. I think that once Andy graduates from H.S. Also I have not taken games so that I could watch MTD, Jr. officiate and I have umpired more baseball and fastpitch in the summer the last few years and cut way back on my summer basketball schedule because of Mark and Andy's baseball games. But, I intend to pick up the pace of my schedule again after Andy graduates from H.S.
