Doug A good friend of mine is booking both tourneys, i was wondering what they were like. this will be my first year, so i was wondering if any of you had ever wked the 2 big ones, 1 for girls and 1 for boys
ChuckElias I attended an AAU qualifying tournament in Orlando last time I was down there. I didn't officiate; I went to watch Tony (crew) work the game. They played in the "Milk House" on the grounds of Disney's Wide World of Sports facility. It's a beautiful facility and the games seemed to run pretty close to on-time. Most of the officials I watched were pretty good. Other than that, I can't really offer much insight. Sorry Chuck
Hawks Coach The link for all of the girls national tournaments is here. This is both National Championships and the National Invitation Championships (AAU equivalent of NIT!). Regardless of which tournament, it is always a high level of play. These tournaments are scattered around the country, as you will see fom the website. http://www.aaugirlsbasketball.org/pages/tournaments.html The boys information may be found at: http://www.aauboysbasketball.org/ The boys tournaments appear to be mainly in Florida and Tennessee.

I don't think all of the tournaments are listed. Tony, Do you work with "your" partners, or is this a whole nother thing and you work with whomever? And, yes I am envious. We have a team camp coming U.P. in about 3 weeks. mick
