Jurassic Referee dblref wrote If you believe the 3 officials missed this call, then they apparently did not receive their training in CA. As everyone knows, the CA trained officials are ready for college ball in only 3 years. Maybe they need remedial training. LOL......😃
tomegun socalreff wroteYou wouldn't be talking about BM would you? Yes. He is one of my best friends with or without basketball. I stay at his house every time I go back home (Vegas).
eyezen Snaqwells wroteMaybe the refs are just getting caught up in the emotion of it all. 🙁 I'm thinking they lost their poise.
DadofTwins BillyMac wroteWhat's that saying about "walking a mile in a man's shoes"? "Before you criticize, walk a mile in a man's shoes. That way, when you do you'll be a mile away and you'll have his shoes."

socalreff dblref wroteYou saw the whole game 10 times? Why? Did you think the score would change? Maybe they need remedial training. 🙂 UCLA definitely got outplayed until Love decided to take over for a couple of minutes. I watch a lot of video. It's the best way for me to get better. I don't just watch plays to see if it was right or wrong; I watch to see positioning and communication among other things. I never said that CA officials are ready in 3 years. I said the opportunity in SoCal in my area is there to be ready in 3 years. Not everybody does all the work some of us have done to get prepared. Not everybody improves at the same rate or starts at the same point. All the officials I've seen advance that quickly were former collegiate players which I think gives one a feel for the game that is hard to duplicate.
