glt1958 LSU player had a tinted eyeshield. Annoucers said must be doctors orders. Doctor or not, that is not allowed NCAA or NF. What gives?

MadCityRef TV fellas thought it was against the rules. (Wow, commentators know a rule.) The sideline reporter said it was doctor's orders and the crew wasn't sure. Not sure?! 😮 Tinted glasses and goggles are ok, not the shield.
