LLPA13UmpDan Dave Hensley wroteJesus, what do you want? A credit card number? sure that would be nice, but i know thats not going to happen. Tim, Bigump56, Those shins- $60 a peice?

BigUmp56 LLPA13UmpDan wrotesure that would be nice, but i know thats not going to happen. Tim, Bigump56, Those shins- $60 a peice? They come in pairs. Just be sure to tell the customer service people at Gerry Davis Sports not to send you two left leg shin guards. You'll feel off balanced if they do. Tim.
BigUmp56 *Smack* The sound you just heard was that of another joke launched over someone's head hitting the wall behind him. Tim.
SanDiegoSteve PWL wroteWhy? Did they do this to you? Did you feel off balance? Why would they make such a mistake? Is it that normal for Gerry Davis Sports? Couldn't he just send them back? Is that what you did? Inquiring minds want to know. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't that what you alway do? Are you on pins and needles? Doesn't it hurt to be on pins and needles? I see humor is not your strong suit. It seemed like an appropriate response to someone who asked if the shin guards were priced $60 a piece.
LLPA13UmpDan is that true with all shin guards on the internet, or what? Like those WV ones, are they $90 a pair, or $90 each?
SanDiegoSteve Come on now Dan, enough is enough. Who in the hell would sell you one shin guard. Gotta, I say gotta use your noodle, boy.
LLPA13UmpDan well it doesnt specify on any of the sites weather you are buying a pair or just one 😮 in the QTY. box, it just says "1" ok, thats good news. Shinguards are cheaper then i thought 😀
waltjp SanDiegoSteve wroteCome on now Dan, enough is enough. Who in the hell would sell you one shin guard. Gotta, I say gotta use your noodle, boy. I know a guy who has a wooden leg. He umps. I guess he only needs 1 guard. 😮
Dave Hensley waltjp wroteI know a guy who has a wooden leg. He umps. I guess he only needs 1 guard. He may only need one, but I'm pretty sure he has to buy them in pairs.
umpduck11 Dave Hensley wroteHe may only need one, but I'm pretty sure he has to buy them in pairs. Perhaps he could find another umpire with a prosthesis, and they could split the cost.
Jurassic Referee umpduck11 wrotePerhaps he could find another umpire with a prosthesis, and they could split the cost.Isn't that against the law? 😕 Living off the avails of a prosthesis?
Rich I buy cheap shin guards these days. I save my money for important pieces of equipment where price actually buys you something, like chest protectors and masks. I tried the Davis ones, but missed the strap around the knee.

Oh well, something to chuckle at during the typical dull fall-ball season....

Jurassic Referee LLPA13UmpDan wroteNo im serious, never i have i seen it where it says they are sold in pairs!I'll bet they love you at the shoe store.😃
BigUmp56 LLPA13UmpDan wroteNo im serious, never i have i seen it where it says they are sold in pairs! Dan, that's as silly as saying that you've never seen an add saying shirts come with two sleeves or that shoes come in pairs. Of course you haven't because anyone with an ounce of common sense doesn't need to be told that. Tim.
