26 Year Gap Not fast enough. The losing coach is a former official I am told. They were paid for their pain and suffering. In the old days you could order the team behind to play.
Texas Aggie Maybe there is a way to reinstall the lack of action rule only in cases where it is actually needed.

ChuckElias My question is, why did the better team play along? They almost went to OT b/c they just never bothered to try to score in the 2nd half. That just seems dumb to me.

Jesse James 50 years from now, I'd imagine those guys from both teams will be still be talking about that 5-2 game. If it had been 78-46, they'll forget it in a heartbeat. The only good shot clock, is a dead shot clock.

SHOT CLOCK WOULD SOLVE THIS JUNK!!
