Normally, the SB officials also work a WC game, so you may see the SB crew out there this weekend. I don't think they announce the SB officials until the week of the game.

I think Terry McAuley is the best on the microphone, but it's only his third year as a referee, so I doubt we'll see him very deep into the playoffs, if at all.

One thing that I found interesting: the Cdn field is, counting the EZs, 150 x 65 yards = 9750 yds^2. The US field is 120 x 53.5 = 6420 yds^2. Our field is 50% bigger than the US field is.

There are times when I'm working the sides, and I look at my sideline partner and say to myself, "wow, he's pretty far away."
