Terrapins Fan You do not have to jump in the air to touch the ball, the ball is supposed to be tossed higher than the jumpers can jump and there to get it on the way down. If they don't jump and tap it legal.

The only problem is this in the air? Why is this a problem? When the ball hits the floor the jump ball has ended? And this is very possible to tape twice while still in the air. I see it rather often in many cases. Peace

The only problem is this in the air? You can tip twice before the ball hits the floor. Whether you are in the air or on the floor doesn't matter. Also, once the ball hits the floor the jump ball is now over and either jumper can grab the ball.
