Portland vs Golden State Blarge (Video)

57.9 left in the 3rd block/charge. Ended up being a blarge. I just caught a glimpse. Curious to see it again and see who should have held.

Same as that PC foul they called on Wisky late in the game vs. UK that I didn't like that was made by the Lead. Trail has a better angle at on that play because he can see between A1 and the defender with whom the contact occurred.

What did the defender do wrong?

Raymond Sun Apr 12, 2015 04:30pm

Even better is the 1972 NY Giants team highlight film that was on my YouTube page afterwards. Classic NFL Films stuff right there.

Moving forward into offensive player at point of contact.

I'm not sure if you're saying you have a PC or a block on this one but the two plays are not alike. The defender in this on is moving towards the opponent at contact.

block, defender was late.
credit to us refs that there aren't more of these calls.:D It seems like there easily could be.

Both should have been blocks. And I am talking about which official had the best look at the contact based on being able to see between the 2 players and judging the defense's movement prior to contact. In both cases the Trail has the best angle on the play, while the Leads is stacked.

How did the NBA officials rule this play? administer both fouls?

OK, maybe I have the wrong play in mind from the UW/UK game....there were a few to choose from.

I agree with your analysis here.

Double foul...no points are scored. Resume play with a jump ball at center court between any two opponents on the floor at the time of the foul. Shot clock is reset to 24.
