Video request

Tripping foul called at 3:11 was a ND player's fifth. Replay shows the SC player may have just tripped herself.

Tough call. Full speed in real time...I can see how the official was fooled. From the Lead's angle, it probably looked like the ND player pushed the SC player to the ground.

The Lead has a tough look there but at full speed, in transition, with a close trailing defender, I can see how it looked like a trip or push and drew the whistle.

I do not think the official saw the entire play. If anything this is just incidental contact.

I agree Rut. From the L's angle in transition it looked bad and she put a whistle on it. With a player falling in the paint it is a tough lay off but I agree she should have let it go.
