Was just about to post this. Ted chose to sit out the tournament this year due to his ailing brother.

I was really surprised he didn't get the nod this year. The divisional round guys were getting reviewed for that assignment, and of the four Rs, I thought by far his game ran the smoothest. Even the Dez Bryant (non-)catch, like the rule or not, he handled superbly.

I sure hope he does. I love the way he's able to interact with coaches and still stay focused. When he's tableside C, he spends more time with the whistle out of his mouth than in, but still gets the job done. I like to watch and learn from that; it is so much easier said than done.

Okay, I'll be the one. I think Steratore appears extremely lazy on the floor. He doesn't hustle into position, gets straight-lined too often, and often looks disinterested. Perhaps the reason he doesn't move deep into the tournament is simply because the other guys are better than him?

I'm tellin' ya, I just think JA isn't a big fan of GS. I respect his judgment, but I also respectfully disagree. Was sad not to see GS working in the regional semis. |

Interestingly enough, at the B1G Tournament, Carstensen was the alternate for the championship (with Lamont Simpson, Steratore, and Wymer working). Interesting how perceptions change from assigner to assigner. |
