College game ends with a bench-clearing brawl.

Please compare to the HS situation in Indiana. Should the seasons of these two teams be over?

Was it fair to reinstate the HS teams?

And with this discussion comes a huge brawl from the women's SWAC tournament (from http://deadspin.com/massive-brawl-at...5-s-1690499267):

Officials tried to separate them and then just stood back and observed.

I tried to embed and couldn't figure out how to do it.

I thought this was a fantastic example of when to get out of the way and let security, the coaches, etc handle the melee.

This was not a SWAC tournament game. It was at the end of the regular season and I posted another thread on it a couple of days ago.

Why in the heck is that stupid team mascot gleefully hopping across half court as the players are retreating to their bench areas at the end of the melee? The all around ego and stupidity makes me smh.

btw, PC foul right? I mean that's the main issue of the video. :D
But also this from the first story. Do you think it should have been a forfeit? There appears to be players from both teams not on the court, but not sure about the team in white. Of course I can't blame the refs here. If that happened to me in a game I'd probably call it a forfeit too if I was worried about more.

Forfeit has to come from the league office, the game officials can only suspend the game.

Yep, and even if we announce "forfeit", the league will still make the final decision.
