More Uniform Follies

The "pink number" thread got me thinking about this play:

FED rules. State playoffs, so both teams are "visitors." The assigned home team shows up wearing white jerseys with red trim. 14 of the players also wear white shorts. One player wears red shorts.

Any issues?

If There Is A God, There Will Never Be Color Restrictions For Shorts ...

3-4-5: Uniform pants/skirts shall adhere to the following:
a. Only one visible manufacturer’s logo/trademark/reference is permitted. See
3-6-2 for size requirements.

Since I never look for logos, and thus, never measure logos, then I have no issues here.

Are there any restrictions on short color or matching between teammates? That should answer your question.

I see what you're doing, you're answering a question by asking a question, à la bob jenkins. Very cool.

Either that, or someone is screwing around with the names on quoted posts again, like they did a few weeks ago.

Are there others who might find it interesting to look up on their own?

(I should have made it more clear)

I wasn't meaning to patronize you, I know you knew the answer.

I was also asking a question to prompt some readers to look it up. :D

How about a player with a twelve inch, by six inch, text only "sign", on the buttocks part of their shorts stating, "Acme Brake Service - Drum Brakes A Specialty"? Now, that I would notice.

What if it happened in an NCAAW or NCAAM game? ;)
