Association End of Year Activities
 
Just wondering what various associations do for end of season banquet or awards ceremony, etc...if anything.

We reserve the party room of a fine local restaurant and by dinner for the officials and their wives/girlfriends.

We also have a few drawings for some gift cards. One set of drawings for the officials, but the higher valued cards are drawn for the wives/girlfriends.

Just Officials ...
 
No spouses/significant others here in my little corner of Connecticut. The banquet (classy banquet facility) costs our local board about $10,000.00 (open bar) and about 2/3 of our 325 members attend. The cost is built into our annual dues ($125.00), doesn't matter whether one plans to attend, or not, everybody pays.
