High School - 94 or 84?
I'm curious to know if any of you see many 94 foot long floors at the high school level?
Most of ours are 84 as recommended by the book, but we have one school with a 94 foot floor, and our state tournaments are in facilities with 94 foot floors as well.

I would guess that my games this year could be close to half and half. It depends on how big the school is and how new the gym is, but we have a lot of 94 footers. Since our state tournaments are largely played on college courts, or places that can host college games, they are 94.

Hm...that's a good question. I don't actually know. Is there an easy way to tell?

90% of our gyms are also used for volleyball. I can tell by where the end lines are for volleyball in relationship to the free throw lines for basketball. Our gyms are about 50/50 on distance...94 v. 84

I have found that when school districts build new schools, they tend to put in 94' courts. This allows them to utilized cross courts as well as have larger areas for other sports events if the court is divided cross ways for the events.
