NCAA-W: Louisville at Duke (Video)
I would like a video of the loose ball scramble starting at 18:40 of the first half. That should have been a foul by the Louisville player for diving on top of a prone Duke player in order to recover a loose ball on the floor at the 18:37 mark of the first half.
Thanks. MTD, Sr. |

Held ball looks good to me.
I certainly don't have a foul on the player that dove for the ball. She had the ball and the other person dove at her legs while trying to knock the ball free. I think she tripped over the other person more than jumped on her. |

At 18:36 of the game clock Red dove on top of White to gain control of the ball. That is the contact I am concerned about. That has to be a foul on Red.

Nope! |

So you are saying it is okay for R1 to jump on top of W1 and lay on top of W1 in order to gain control of a loose ball? MTD, Sr. |

No what I am saying is that isn't what happened on the play. In the video I am watching, white dives into the legs of red, causing red to fall over. I am calling a foul on white on that play. |

Go back to the tape and look at the play at 18:36 of the game clock. The video starts around 18:40 of the game clock and I don't care about that action. Look at the action at 18:36 of the game clock. MTD, Sr. |

I have this as incidental contact followed by a held ball. I think the closest thing to a foul here is a TC foul on White #23, but I think all contact here is incidental.

"It's a loose ball, you can't have a foul!" Can't count the number of times I've heard this on two hands.
