I saw play (a). Looked like a deliberate, sneaky cheap shot by #12 who quickly turned away from the scene to go double team the ball. Looked like the C was looking in that direction but I don't think there was a call on the play. When the Butler player went down the game was stopped and the officials went to the monitor to view what happened and then ruled an F2.
