What is the ruling in the following situations:

The ball is in flight during a try or a tap for goal by A1 as A2 commits a foul a) before the ball goes through the basket b) after the ball goes through the basket

If the foul occurs while the try is in flight, count the basket if it goes in. Whether it goes in or not, B's ball at the spot nearest the foul or free throws if in the bonus. Team control ended when the try was released.

When the ball goes through the basket it becomes dead until the start of the throw-in by the opponent. Contact during this interval should be ignored unless it is ruled intentional or flagrant.

Don't forget that B gets to run the endline on the ensuing throw-in if the try is successful and the nearest spot to the foul happens to be along the endline.
