player out of bounds and hit by ball

player out of bounds and hit by ball

If a player A is standing out of bounds, and player B hits player A with the ball and the ball then goes out of bounds,
is the last player to touch the ball before it goes out of bounds player A or player B?
Who gets possession of the ball?
