First time for everything
 

After 30+ years working the varsity basketball circuit, I had a first last night. No more than 6 blocks from my house, my partner got into a car accident when some person ran a stop sign and hit us. By the time the police finished writing a ticket and getting the paperwork done, there was no way we were going to be on time. I called the AD cell but no answer. I then tried the old AD who answered and said he would take care of contacting the school. We got there 15 minutes late and half of the girls team came out and asked how we were, as did a number of other people.

It is a school I work at quite a bit but it was really nice that they were concerned about us.

First of all glad you are OK. But we are human beings and many people realize that fact.
