BYU Utah state breakaway foul followed by scrum vid request

18:43 vid request second half.

Break away by BYU with a foul I didn't think was severe or excessive. BYU player gets up and gets in his face. I don't know what the final call was but there was a scrum with a couple of cups of T being served. I would have just had a common foul on the arm grab.

I've got an intentional foul on White 24 and unsporting technicals on Blue 3 and Blue 20.

The Lead's angle is a lot better than ours. I'm trusting his judgment on this.

I'm not shy about putting an FF1/INT on a defender who fouls from behind and doesn't come close to making a play on the ball.

That's an arm grab from behind on a fast break. You need to take all variables into account.

I agree. My internal calculus says Intentional. You've got obvious advantageous position and some follow-through in play here.

F1 on #24 white, followed by dead ball contact technical on #3 Blue for the chest bump and unsporting tech on #20 Blue. I don't have a fight here but I am ok with the coach coming out and telling his players get away.

As far as the play goes, I could see an F1 being called but also understand a common foul. What I'm really impressed with in this play is the action of The Trail official. He joins the play late but has a good presence of mind to keep an eye out on all the players while he is discussing with the other official about double Ts. Trail is the only one who notices White24 still frustrated and coming back around for some more and he intercepts him. Great job of continuing to monitor all players at all times.
