Uconn v Notre Dame NCAAW Mechanics (Video)

Not questioning the call here, just the mechanics. Uconn v Notre Dame about 5:30 left. Ball goes out of bounds next to the C after being tipped in front of her. Lead comes across the paint and they change the call. I am wondering why the lead was even looking there and how she could have been 100% considering she was looking at the backs on the tip that may have reversed the call.. Any thoughts?

Not sure why Lead came to help on this one, that it Center's play all day. From the video it looks clearly off white, but the reactions lead me to believe there is something we can't see from this angle. Is there a replay angle jeschmidt?

Wrong call?

I don't remember TV doing a replay because it was meaningless call at this point. The interesting thing is the C gave it back to blue and the lead came over and they reversed the call and gave it to white.

I am just confused bc I can't imagine ever doing that as lead, especially in a blowout game with 1:25 left.

It's coming to the C who is in position to officiate the play, I am leaving that alone as the Lead.
