Rutgers/Clemson video requests (Video)

I was in attendance for this one tonight and thought there were a couple plays that deserved a second look.

11:23 in second half: POV foul called by Pat Driscoll against Clemson

36.6 in second half: looked to be a correct illegal screen call by Jamie Luckie against Clemson

Also, I noticed that Roger Ayers did not blow his whistle before he threw the jump ball and was curious if that was the proper mechanic in NCAA-M, or if the whistle is optional.

I also noticed Jamie Luckie reporting fouls with his whistle in his mouth without speaking and thought that was interesting.

Finally, I noticed that Luckie would signal an attempted 3-pointer by showing a full hand (half a touchdown) while Ayers and Driscoll showed three fingers. I'm sure it doesn't matter, but was just wondering what the proper mechanic is.

Play 1: Great call, defender is moving forward at point of contact (watch feet go from point A to B).

Play 2: Illegal screen.

This.
Women's side, three point shot is as you describe, open hand thumb extended.

It might depend on what you mean by "extended" -- but it's "all five fingers together" -- the thumb is neither tucked nor, well, extended away from the fingers.

1: Player jumped forward but not by much. Referee the defense and this was caught properly.

2: Good call on the illegal screen.

Peace
