Timer Issues

Varsity boys game...been to the school several times but they have a new time keeper this go-around. Naturally I assume for a conference rival they would pick someone competent.

Inside of the last 2 minutes of regulation (went 2 OTs) we had to put time back on the clock on 6...count them 6 different occasions! After the third one (I was waiting for the "R" to address it) I went to the table and told the guy not to start the clock until one of us chopped it in...sure enough the next inbound is on the endline, bench side going the long way and the dude couldn't see the "T" so he couldn't see anyone chop it in...so he didn't start the clock at all...then we had to run time off the clock. Home HC just looked at me and said he had no one else...it was quite the time!

6 corrections in the last 2 minutes of regulation? Yikes looks like the guy failed timer/clock operator 101.If I'm the home AD or Coach I'm pretty well embarrassed at the situation and someone is probably getting trained for the next home date.Of course the biggest mistake was going 2OT right Mark? :p:D

You had 6 corrections that you know of. Imagine the ones you didn't notice.
