First one out of the gate last night..

1) A1 releases the ball just before shot clock buzzer goes off but the shot never hit the Rim. Partner was T and did not kill play. I asked him why not and he said ball left shooters hand in time..I said what about the fact that the shot did not hit the Rim..that caused a violation..He said "Oh"

2) I call 4 handcheck fouls under 10-6-12 in first quarter and coach sez I am not seeing it.. I said coach what you are not seeing is that these are being called differently this year as they are "Automatics"

I called four games in a tournament yesterday. No close games all day, mine or anybody else's. The last two I called finished 57-17 and 58-17.
