I'm with Camron. No way I'm saying this unless I believed it. If the coach makes a valid rules point and we know it, make the change if it's not too late. If it's too late, admit you kicked it.

That's going to be much more effective than doubling down.

All three of the crew members who were on this call said they would have changed it had they realized they kicked it.

My kind of rule of thumb is if we kick a call because we kick a rule, change it. If we kick a call because of judgement go with it. There is no excuse for blowing a rule and you can't defend a lapse in rules knowledge but you can a judgement call.
