4 point play
Found this question and answer but i don't get why 2 free throws would be awarded if the try is successful.
Question: Airborne shooter A1 has been fouled by B1 in the act of shooting a two-point try. B2 moved into Al's landing space after he was airborne and commits a blocking foul against A1. The try is successful. True or False True - Section 1 Article 1 & Article 2 (Case Book 4.1.1) - 2004 Ruling: Two free throws will be awarded A1.

False Multiple. I have never called one. This actually does happen, but officials only penalize the first foul. I wonder if it is out of lack of knowledge or because officials don't want to penalize 2 fouls on such a play. I watched a state tournament game have this happen where the trail called a foul on the arm during a try and then the lead came out with a block as the second defender slid underneath the shooter. The officials only penalized the 1st foul.
