Shot clock NCAA women's
Just trying to understand the shot clock rule a little better. Ona throw in, does the shot clock start with any legal touch of the ball or does their have to be team possession as well? Does it matter which team touches the ball to startt he chot clock?
This is different than the HS back court rule clunt rule where the game clock starts with the touch but the 10 second count starts with team possession in bounds. Thanks. Below is the rule for reference.
Art. 3. The shot clock shall be started when:
a. An inbounds player legally touches the ball on a throw-in;
b. A team gains initial possession following a jump ball or unsuccessful try for goal; or
c. There is a change of team control.
