Recommendation for Shoe Polish (Leather & Patent)
Any particular brand to recommend for polishing your leather/patent kicks? If you please post a link for the purchase that'll be great. Thank you~!
Ps, I've tried a bottle of that brand starts with "Ta sth." but the foam on the top didn't hold long... it was great otherwise though. |
Polish patent leather shoes? Why? I don't think I could get them any shiner even if I wanted to.
As for the basic leather shoes, I have always just used kiwi paste wax and a rag. |
Shape Up. Once a year or so is all that is needed.

Perhaps try a little warm water and a soft cloth. Maybe some windex? Maybe even some nail polish remover? I've actually used the nail polish remover on some patent leather shoes many years ago to remove scuff marks...and it worked great. They were not referee shoes, however, and they may have been a different material.....so try it in a non-visible spot first (or on an older pair). |

The 'Patent Leather' Zigs aren't real leather anyway, they are a synthetic patent material.
I too looked for a while to see what products would clean patent leather until I realized my Zigs were not real leather... |
I use Armor All wipes on my Zigs...it works great.

Be sure to get the wipes for leather, and not the wipes for plastic / vinyl / pleather
|
Now I'm confused . . . if it's not real leather, which Armor-all wipes should I use?
