"I didn't cuss."
Church league game today. One teenager who had already been running his mouth decides it's okay to taunt an opposing player by saying "Yeah, b*tch" (in a church, nonetheless) after he makes a shot. Easy T for me, but of course he claims, "I didn't cuss. I said 'yeah, (something that sounded like b*tch).' " My thought is, "I know the difference between "b*tch" and whatever you say you said." After all, since we refs are blind, that means our hearing is superb. ;) My other thought is that no matter what he may have said, it was still very clearly taunting.
Just a funny story I thought I'd share.
