I thought it might be interesting to some that the NBA today made public a series of POEs previously distributed only to officials this season. Most of this stuff is evident from watching the games, but I think it's good they're trying to be more transparent.

Really interesting how they put out a memo concerning "turning sideways" to contest a shot. Essentially this takes away a defenders (under NFHS and NCAA rules) ability to turn any direction after having established Legal Guarding Position.

They are doing an awful job of enforcing the POE on illegal screens.
