Dayton v Stanford (Video)
Close block/charge play at 7:03 of the 1st half. Good one for a video clip.
|
Interesting signal by the official at 7:56. I think he initially thought it was an offensive foul, but then pointed the other way.
I thought 7:03 was a charge. What did you think of the push-off foul on the ensuing inbound at 7:02 Nevada? |
So I'm guessing these are the plays that led to the T on Dawkins? (I was watching the other game).

The coach has been whacked!
|
Another close block/charge play at 10:44 second half, also against Stanford. The Stanford coach yelled "same play!" at the official right after, apparently referring to the earlier block/charge play referenced in this thread.
|
Should be a flagrant 1 against Dayton with 8:22 left in 2nd half.
Yep, that's the call after video review. Too bad video is ruining the skill of on the court calling. |
Absolute phantom against Stanford's #33 Powell with just over six minutes to play!
|
Does Pat Adams have to blow his whistle five times on every call?

Please post the video of the throw-in by Dayton just prior to the foul call with 47.3 seconds left. The question is did the Dayton player travel prior to the foul?
|
I noticed several phantom fouls in the games tonight.
|
Apparently Karl Hess believes he was getting paid per whistle in this game. Good grief! He wouldn't work many ACC games, if any, with the judgement he displayed.....

1st block/charge, I think the defender was late relative to updward motion...OK with the call...but it was close.
Push-off...no foul, the defender was acting. 2nd block/charge. Defender got there....good call. Elbow..hate that rule. Defender only caught an elbow because he got beat. It even looked like he was tyring to tuck the elbow out of the way but his arm just wouldn't bend that way. PC at most is all it "should" be, if anything at all. Travel, inconclusive to me. |
