This one I'll never understand -- at the table it just doesn't matter. Matter of fact, I'd be thrilled if we could just report the number and that's it. Who CARES if it's a hit, push, block, etc. etc.? Do they write that in the book?

On the spot, that "hands on hips" mechanic looks just terrible.
