Video Request--MAC Men's Championship Game

I would like a video of the MAC Men's Championship game between Toledo and Western Michigan at the 6:37 mark of the second half. Thanks.

I thought so too. The official who made the call is a personal friend and a very good college official.

Such a tough play but I will go with PC.

What a regional observer told me is is the Lead official must recognize the number of players on one side of the court and realize he must anticipate rotating to the strong side. The L needed to rotate when the ball reached to the top of the key. Granted, the backdoor cut happened quickly but I believe if the L had rotated, he would've been in better position to officiate at the play.

The NCAA has Men's officials afraid to properly call PC fouls on plays like this.

Yep.

Saw one miscalled like this in a championship game here in Oregon too. Defender there all day and they still tagged him with a block.

I like Bill too, but it looks like he got that one wrong.

I wonder what he was thinking on this play. He was looking right at the defender the whole time.

Side note: if he pointed at the RA and a partner came with info that the defender was outside, the call would change right? RA is the only reason I can think why he called a block.

Whether the defender was in the RA or not ( he wasn't) I would not consider the defender a secondary defender in this play because of how far away from the basket the dribbler was when he got around the first defender.

I'm not sure how you can say this. It is a back door cut to get behind the primary defender. This pretty much looks like the definitition of a secondary defender.

And its a PC everyday and twice on Sunday.

The defender was clearly a secondary defender. Play happened outside the RA, so it doesn't matter.
