Should they? Not sure they should, but the can if they see something that helps get the call right. The T seemed to be asking for help on a play that was not his.

Peace

Only whoever the L asks for help should be helping. Since L pointed the same way as C, I guess that the L was asking C.

In my mind, the OP should be asking, "Should the T be helping here?"

The L was clearly looking to the C for help...T has no business getting involved here.

Why would the L look to the C and not the T? I didn't even realize he did when I first watched it. I would guess the T signals bc he sees the L hold his and expects he wants his help?

The ball went to the middle of the lane. It appears that there might have been a touch by someone in the lane. It is possible the L felt the C had a better look. Either official can help if they saw something. And it really is not clear to me by the graininess of the video to know who he is asking for help from IMO.

Peace

that or "was the ball touched by the player in black across the lane?" L might have a hard time seeing that.

Ball went oob on the opposite side of the key. C has the best look at it.

I think Lead looks at Trail before he looks across at C. Does anyone else see that?

This is obviously the L's call. If he needs help he can look to the C first.
