Notre Dame-UNC End of Game Screens
 

Two borderline screens by ND in final minute of game that went uncalled. Video would be appreciated.

I thought at first glance that the first screen should've been a team control foul and the second one (near division line) was a good no-call.

Time references are needed to pull up video.

The first occurs with about 12 seconds left in the game, and the second occurs on the final possession.

I have nothing on either one.

I don't see anything wrong with either screen.

I have nothing on either one also...seems that the screener was set in plenty of time, and the only movement came from him being run into.

Not only don't I see anything wrong here... I'm questioning the OP on why either of these would be borderline. There's nothing even borderline here. Completely legal. Textbook legal. Put that on the video to show someone how to do it legal.

Those look like really good screens actually. How would those be considered "borderline"? You think his stance is too wide?

I'm with the rest -- I'm not sure how the OP saw the first one as illegal.

Yep, nothing illegal. At first glance I thought his stance was too wide on #1, just wanted to see our thoughts.

My understanding is, that if the stance is wide, but the contact is on the torso, the width of the feet/legs is of no consequence.

No problem with either. Like MD said, put this on a video on how to set legal screens.

Seriously, though...the screens are both legal and legal by a long shot.

Both screens look good to me

Neither screen comes close to being borderline/illegal in any way, shape, or form.

I apologize that my lapse in judgment watching TV made you so defensive.

Not even close to a foul call in either case.

In fact, the screener in each case, Blue 25, made it easier for the defender to get back into the play via his post-contact movement.

Since it is obvious there is nothing here can we close this thread and fine the originator of the OP ?????
