I expect a real mess over the last couple weeks of the regular season as far as consistency on this type of play.
Looks like the NCAA has gone looking for a problem that didn't need a solution.

I agree with you.

For over 60 years the start of the Act of Shooting for a player who is dribbling the ball is when he stops his dribble. Why? A player cannot shoot the ball if he is dribbling the ball. When will the insanity stop?

Good God, it sounds like they're trying to validate all the idiots who yell out "on the floor" when we're awarding free throws.

I bet it'll get worse at the HS level especially if we start seeing more high profile calls on Sportscenter.

No it won't. We still have our marching orders.

I'm just talking about the complaining from the fans (I know I know...who are they?). We all know how much they like to reference other levels when complaining about calls.

It may get worse, but the more consistent we are at our levels the fans come to "expect" what we do as well.

Coaches/fans/players fall into 2 categories as far as I am concerned. Unreasonable or reasonable, and a majority are reasonable. Its just the idiots make the most noise. A lot of times it comes from not being able to control emotions and matching expectations with skill.
