Offensive player clearly causes contact. Did the defender embellish? Absolutely. But he embellishes to help us out. He was displaced. And instead of helping us out, we refuse the help and say no thanks buddy, I really want you to get hit really hard before I give the offense a foul. In my opinion, we invited the retaliation foul. Incidentally, bench decorum.
