I never ordered from NFHS before today.

NFHS
1-800 / 776-3462
Mastercard or VISA
Two book minimum.

Two book minimum? I had never heard of that.

Of course, the shipping and handling fees have always been what made a two book minimum make sense. Thankfully this year I have a friend with whom I can split the bill.

I do it the easy way

Every year, I order 60 rule books, a bunch of case books and some official's manuals for my rec league through our state HS association. They have an on-line ordering form. After the books arrive, they bill us and our treasurer writes them a check. There is no shipping because I pick them up at their office, which used to be about 5 minutes from my house until they moved. Now, it's about 20 minutes away. It's still worth the drive.

Man - if only everything in life was this easy. http://www.click-smilie.de/sammlung/...smiley-002.gif

Shipping and handling is an even greater fraud than an extended warranty.

Probably cost what, a buck-fifty at the most, to mail two rulebooks? :(

Tony,
Actually, the funny book will be ready at the end of the month; the case book will be sent first.
My single book cost MHSAA $0.83 to send, and my two Football books cost 'em $1.29. ...Then the envelopes....
Fed ain't gonna 'net' much on me.

There was a comic strip the other day (I forget which one - both the name of the strip and which day it was - which is not unusual for me) in which a guy was ordering something by check. The amount was $14.95 plus $5.00 for S+H. He asked his wife what S+H meant and she told him it meant shipping and handling. He said he'd send them $2.00 for the shipping, but he didn't like anyone else handling his stuff.
