Jump Ball to Start Game - Out of bounds

Hello all, looking for some assistance on NFHS rules. Here is the situation: A1 & B1 are in the center circle for the jump ball to start the game. A1 jumps and slaps the ball backwards towards Team A's basket and it goes out of bounds under the basket without anyone else touching it. Do we re-jump? Give the ball to Team B under Team A's basket and set the AP Arrow to A when the ball is in-bounded by B?

If A1 slaps the ball backward, that is toward team B's basket.

This, except you don't have to wait until the ball is in-bounded to set the arrow.

Explaining JAR above: a team's basket is the one they are trying to score on, not the basket they are defending.

Let me ask you this: If A1 slapped that ball out of bounds during the course of the game, what would you do?
Hope that this question makes it clear that having another jump ball doesn't make sense.
If you have an NFHS rules book, look at setting the initial arrow in rule 4.
