Maybe in an NBA game, but this needs to be called in high school games around my area: regardless of advantage.

I can agree with this on the initial shuffle of the feet when he receives the pass, but the 3 pivot foot changes after that are a bit much.

I've mentioned this elsewhere -- without defensive pressure and especially at this level, do you think the on-ball official is actually staring at Wade looking for a travel? He's probably looking for a competitive matchup and making sure there isn't an illegal screen or some other kind of foul.

I agree with this, I just disagree with letting it go because there's no advantage.

This is one where I'd probably smile if someone yelled out "Ball don't lie."

I may go with the "no advantage" thing in a lower level game (I'm talking about 10 year-olds or less), but not at the high school level or above. At that point I believe a rule is a rule.

With that said, I can accept this being missed, as the official may be looking at other things. But to let it go because Wade didn't gain an advantage is wrong. It's a rule, and these guys know it. If the ref called a travel there, can Wade or his coach really get upset about it? No.

Left foot is established as the pivot foot, then he picks it up and moves it. Travel everyday.

and then moves the right foot.
and then moves the left foot again.
and then moves the right foot yet again.

Can you call 6-7 infractions at once?
