Dunking or book T to start a game

If you start a game with a T for a book violation or for a dunk does the T decide the AP arrow or do you still toss?

NFHS = no jump ball. The AP arrow is set when the ball is placed at the disposal of the thrower after the FTs. (NFHS 4-3-3b)

NCAA = resume at POI (which would be the jump ball)

None of the above for a "book T."

Most of the above for a dunking T (it's not a personal foul -- but it does count toward the 5 for removal from the game)

Based on your posts in this thread and others, you really need to review rule 10 in the rule book, as well as the corresponding case book plays.

Ditto what johnny d wrote. You need to get into your rule book, either the hard copy or the one online at Arbiter. We’re not telling you you’re incorrect just for the heck of it.

Counts as a team foul, individual foul and coach has lost his box.
