Definitely not a block. Defender certainly embellished the contact with his reaction, but he certainly had LGP, too. This is one I might no call from one angle and call charge from another.

Had the defender stayed put until contact, there may have been either a PC foul, or he may have legally disrupted the dunk attempt. We'll never know. He bailed early, minimizing contact to the point where it isn't a foul.

These are the kinds of athletic plays that the spectators come to watch. There was very minimal contact as the defender must have been thinking "Shit! ... better get out of this poster" there was no advantage/ disadvantage gained by those involved! I'm yelling out "play on!"

Great athletic play, defender made it look as if something was there that wasn't. Slow-mo shows that contact was less than minimal. A charge on this would be a weak call even if the kid shot a lay-up instead of hammering it home.
