Free Violation and Lane Violation Situation

A1 shoots a Free throw and misses the ring , B1 stepped in the lane while the ball was in the air . What is the procedure in this case

Simultaneous violation.
Move on to the next shot, if applicable.

If it was the last shot (or the first of a one-and-one), go to the arrow.

This is sort of a tough one, because there has to be no doubt that B1 violated before the ball had the chance to hit the rim. If B1 steps in after the ball missed the ring, clearly its an airball, B's ball. But if it's pretty close? I think I would probably simply call the shooting team's violation and move on if it was not clear.

The OP deals with a free throw. If the ball has passed the rim and has no chance to go in, the free throw is over.
