I don't. Never lost one (I hope I didn't just jinx myself). If you're prone to it, then do so.

Around here, flags on our uniforms are reserved for those that have served in the Armed Forces.

BNR - do you have the new VHSL shirt?

We ordered ours at our clinic two months ago and they haven't come in yet.....nice (sarc).

I ordered my in April (seriously), and I just received it 2 weeks ago.

The local board I don't work for has made it mandatory for all their officials (Varsity, at least) to wear the new shirts.

The board up north I work for only has made it mandatory to wear the new patch on the old shirt.

I only have a flag on one of my current shirts, and that's because I have a supervisor who requires it. I served 22 years, but never have felt the need to wear a flag on my shirt.

I have a blue ID card that symbolizes my patriotism. :D

We aren't wearing the new shirt as not enough folks got em in.

We were specifically told NOT to put the new patch on the old shirt, although, we have the patches......

I heard the new shirts be mandatory at the state tourney and then for all games next yr.

Like em?

As a military man yourself, you'll understand my answer. I don't care one way or the other, it's just another uniform to me.

Acknowledged. I just know a lot of folks aren't keen on them is all.

I just do what I'm told! ;)

Our area has adopted, "Pull three people from any area for any given night" philosophy, what are the odds of some refs having flags/no flags, pullover/zip up jacket, different shoes, etc. I felt a bit weird the other night, when my jacket failed to match my two partners.

I have a pair of glasses and sports goggles (in the same prescription as the glasses). Normally, I change to the goggles when I arrive on site and keep the glasses packed in the side pocket of my bad in a hard-shell protective case.

This weekend, however, I was halfway through my second game before I realized I was wearing my glasses instead of my goggles. At that point, I didn't bother changing.
