I was a women's college official and because of employment had to drop out. Who can I contact to see if I could return to the profession?
|
I would guess that your old college assignor (or his/her successor) would be the best place to start. Good luck!

Thanks Mr. Elias for your response. It was an Erie Chapter and is now defunct.
Hi Mr. Elias,
Thank you very much for your response. The chapter that I was in was Erie, PA and it is now defunct. I know there are 2 officials that are still active, but I am not sure how to reach them. They are Cathy Lynch and Marlene Greene, both from Erie. I understand that someone in Ohio is in charge of our area, but I do not know who or how to reach the person. |
Perhaps a call to the coach at any of the schools in that area would get you a name?
|
You both have top-of-the-line quotes. Thanks for the help. At the time I officiated,
I was the official of choice for big games for the schools that I did, and I will see if I can get back at it. So your help is really appreciated.

4u,
Even if the chapter is defunct and your old assignor is no longer assigning, I would take a chance and give him/her a call. I would think that s/he knows a good contact person in your area. People with the connections to be a college assignor usually don't fall completely out of the loop. |
