on a screen, when coming from behind and setting the pick, how far away do you hafta be when standing your ground? or can you be a 1/2 in.(sorry) away from them, even if they cant see? your answers would be nice

Scientific American once did a great comparison here, stating that units are like referees - you don't notice them until something goes wrong.
