If One of You were my partner in a game...ohhh my oh my

After reading through some of these posts, I can only wonder what it would be like to have one of you as my 2 or 3 man partners in a game. Based on what I've read so far I can only imagine it would be one of the more memorable experiences I've had officiating.
Seriously, though, I would consider a trip to where most of you are up there in the northeast US and try this out; however, I was in Boston and Providence a few years ago--but the local food was terrible (no seasoning) and the people are bit more crabby than in the south and out here in Kansas.

Would you "travel" there or "travell" there?

Now THAT is how to win friends and get off to a good start with an entire group of people.

I've been all over the world and met some great, and not so great folks. But, I would never count an entire group out based on just what I personally saw in a short time.

I have met and worked with several on the Forum and others that never heard of it. I take something from them all......

PS - I lived in Kansas for about six weeks and enjoyed it. But, man, it can be cold, especially when the "hawk" (wind) is out. Brrrr.

While I'm not in the NE as you assume, if you did have the opportunity to work a game with me, I would have your back, as would most of the posters on this site.

I've worked with hundreds like you in my career.....

You don't last long, for obvious reasons.....

With one possible exception, Old School, I would partner up with any Forum member. In fact, I would look forward to it. Seriously.

I would especially work with Old School. I'd have enough stories to last the rest of my career.

Now we've said it twice. Let's be careful.

I heard GEN Colin Powell once said, "Even Saddam Hussein has value, he can always be used as a bad example."

You can learn something from everyone you meet, even if it's - I don't want to be like that.

I don't think you have nearly enough information on which to base this assumption.

What I find amusing is how pompous you'd have to be to assume anyone would want to work with you. And the food in Boston is outstanding...

I'd assume we'd arrive at the site at an appropriately early time, have a pre-game, officiate the game (and have discussions when needed/appropriate), have a post-game, then go about our merry way afterward.

Though I live in Missouri, I work in three lower level college conferences with schools in Kansas. It's entirely possible we may end up working a game together someday! :)

If this response had its own Facebook page I would push its "Like" button.
