I still cannot believe that they have changed the block/charge line of demarcation. Stupid and not going to change much how it is called if you ask me.

Maybe it's just me, Rut, but I don't even recall much that much complaining at the end of the season that would've brought the idea to the table in the first place.

Two plays caused it, IMO.
1. The crash which was no-called at Iowa St near the end of regulation versus Kansas. 2. A drive on the right side of the lane in the NCAA tournament which did have a whistle. I can't recall which game at the moment. The call was much debated. The game was close. |

Looks like we'll see a lot less charges this year. If I had to guess most 50/50 calls will be blocks.
It also looks like handchecking will be a POE. Universally ignored I'm sure. |
