Mind you, that isn't applicable on the court, but when the government gets involved, that's overstepping.

JMF, I have to wonder what Gov. Christie would say to this.

Heck freedom of speech on this site is censored.....

I made a post declaring one of the political parties at fault and saying a couple of talking heads would be doing a show on this topic. An esteemed member challenged my post in an intelligent rebuttal and both our posts were deleted. No arguing no name calling...just two adults expressing their opinion....

You're right. It's censored here. History has proven political discussions rarely, if ever, result in anything positive on this board.

Remember, freedom of speech does not apply here.

How about the Fifth Amendment?

Adam -

I made my point and the other poster did as well....no name calling was involved and both posts were well written.....I has no intentions to say anything negative about him or his post...

In the future I hope you would give posts like that opportunity to pass the test of time before we succumb to your opinion of what is right or wrong....

Thanks for listening....

I thank Adam for being proactive in removing the posts.

Unless you are a moderator, in which case you can do or say as you please!

Believe it or not, this is not the case.

Maybe. Maybe not. Some people here seem to think this site is a democracy protected by the constitution. Sorry folks. This is a privately owned internet enterprise. It's essentially private property and posters here do so at the pleasure of the owners. Those that have a problem with the way the boards are moderated are certainly free to refrain from visiting or posting. I, for one, appreciate their providing the forum for discussion AT NO CHARGE. It's certainly not without hard costs to the owners, so I think everyone should abide by their rules and policies or take the opportunity to go elsewhere.

What? What do you mean no charge? When I first joined the Forum, Mark Padgett told me that he was the Forum treasurer. For the past eight years he has automatically taken the ten dollar monthly fee from my credit card account.

That's OK because he pays me a 20% commission on those charges. Thanks. :D

This is zero tolerance on steroids. An investigation on trash talking in my football game this past Sunday would've required the Warren Commission. I don't see this going as intended.
